Milka Ivanovska Hadjievska (Lund University) will present the paper “When Mainstream Parties Push for Civil Society Restrictions: Towards Illiberalism in Liberal Democracies?” at the 2022 Annual Conference of the Swedish Political Science Association taking place at Örebro University from 28-30 September. The paper is co-authored with Nicole Bolleyer and Leonhard Grevesmühl (both LMU Munich) and connected to the ERC project “The Shrinking Space for Civil Society in Europe” (CIVILSPACE).
