Dr. Tanja Zinterer

Dr. Tanja Zinterer studied political science, sociology and modern german literature at the University of Augsburg. She received her PhD in 2003, also having spent time in Ottawa/Canada in order to carry out a research project on policy advising commissions in Germany and Canada. During her doctoral studies she worked as a research assistant for the Enquete-Comission of the Bavarian state parliament. From 2003 to 2004, she worked as a research and teaching associate at the TU Munich. Since 2004 Tanja Zinterer works at the Geschwister-Scholl-Institute for political science, from 2007 on as lecturer in the field of political systems. Her special interests concern the research on public policy, especially policies of family and migration, policy advising and the comparison of political systems (above all Canada and the USA).
