Curriculum Vitae
Moritz Weiss ist akademischer Oberrat (a.Z.) am Lehrstuhl für Internationale Beziehungen des Geschwister-Scholl-Instituts für Politikwissenschaft. Seine Forschungsschwerpunkte sind (informelle) Institutionentheorie, europäische Integration sowie Sicherheits- und Technologiepolitik. Er wurde jeweils in Politikwissenschaft an der Jacobs University Bremen promoviert (2010) und an der LMU München (2018) habilitiert. Moritz Weiss hat das DFG-Forschungsprojekt "Diversity or convergence? Explaining the development of defense-industrial policies" (WE 3653/4-1) abgeschlossen (2019) und ein Jahr den Lehrstuhl für Global Governance an der LMU (2018/2019) vertreten. Danach war er Jean-Monnet-Fellow am Europäischen Hochschulinstitut in Florenz (2019/2020). Er hat in zahlreichen Fachzeitschriften publiziert. Darunter sind u.a. Governance, European Political Science Review, Review of International Political Economy, Journal of Common Market Studies, Journal of European Public Policy, Journal of European Integration, Journal of Global Security Studies, European Journal of International Security, und Security Studies.
