During my time in the UK, I obtained major research grants from the ESRC for a project on policy transfer and civil service reform (co-applicants: G. Philipp and F. Panizza) and from the Volkswagen Foundation for a project on executive reform in Central and Eastern Europe (co-applicants: V. Dimitrov and H. Wollmann).
